The industrial technology program offers students the opportunity to specialize in two options: manufacturing or quality.
By selecting the manufacturing option, students are prepared to provide direct manufacturing support of a technical or managerial nature. The knowledge of management principles, physical sciences, technology of industry, and liberal arts are employed to optimize manufacturing processes, materials, and personnel.
The quality option prepares the student to apply various continuous improvement principles and techniques in both manufacturing and service industries.
The coursework includes a required professional internship in a local firm as a culminating activity.
