Dr. Stephanie Goldberg is a Professor in the Engineering Technology Department at Buffalo State University. She is responsible for curriculum development and instruction in analog and digital electronics, as well as microcontrollers. Her research interests include fault detection and fault tolerance in digital circuits and modular processors, along with engineering education methods.

Dr. Goldberg earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1997, where she also received her M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering.

Before joining Buffalo State, Dr. Goldberg accumulated ten years of industrial experience as an Electrical Engineer at Sierra Research in Buffalo, NY. In that role, she designed Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) code and interfacing circuitry for circuit boards incorporating digital and analog integrated circuits used in radar data communication systems. She also developed embedded microprocessor code for flight inspection testing and calibration.

Dr. Goldberg has published several papers and presented her work at ASEE conferences. Since 2021, she has served as the Faculty Advisor for the Buffalo State Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Additionally, she is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Electrical Engineering Technology program at SUNY Erie Community College.
